Mark Bordas

Mark Bordas has over 30 years of experience in advancing client interests in the public and private sector.

He specializes in highly regulated industries, having represented Anheuser-Busch, the world’s largest brewer, for 20 years. While serving as a vice president of governmental affairs in Texas, he managed, executed, and implemented legislative and regulatory strategies at the local, state, and federal levels of government within the company’s most lucrative 14-state region.

In addition to alcohol issues, he has policy experience in the vaping, health care, gaming, IT, insurance, and tobacco industries. Bordas also has extensive experience in conducting media and grassroots campaigns in support of client interests.

In addition to representing corporate and contract clients, Bordas also has a wealth of experience in organizing trade associations and managing their growth. He served as the Executive Director of the Ohio Jewelers Association and grew their annual trade show into the fourth largest fine jewelry show in the country, before orchestrating its purchase by a private entity.

He was also the principal organizer of New Mexicans for Fairness, The Texas Brewers Institute (now doing business as the Texas Brewers Guild), and served as a founding member of the Texas Association of Manufacturers.

He earned an undergraduate degree in journalism and a master’s degree in public policy and management from The Ohio State University. Additionally, he is certified in mediation and alternative dispute resolution through the University of Texas’ School of Law.
